About MB Roland Distillery
If you are looking for a distillery with a down home feeling, MB Roland fits the bill. Just north of Clarksville, Tennessee, this veteran-owned distillery was an Amish farm in its previous life. In fact, running electricity was one of the first challenges the distillery faced. The one-hundred gallon still they started production with in 2009, now sits by the front porch of the Visitor’s Center.
One of the first things you will notice is how many spirits they produce using their grain-to-glass philosophy. They are no strangers to experimentation. They make a variety of moonshine, wheat- and malt-based whiskeys and they even smoke some of their white corn to create a Dark Fired Kentucky Straight Bourbon.
The tour takes you through the production facility, to the hay barn that stores their aging whiskey, and to the Visitor’s Center for a leisurely and informative tasting.
As seen in "Experiencing Kentucky Bourbon."
