About Bulleit Distilling Co Visitor Experience

One of the newest mass-production distilleries in Kentucky, Bulleit takes industry out to the countryside. Located just north of I-64 between Louisville and Lexington, you navigate some scenic country roads on your way to this state-of-the-art whiskey campus. Bulleit gives you an opportunity to step away from the historic tours and craft tours to see a distillery built for large-scale production.

The tour begins in the elegant, yet rustic Visitor’s Center, where you are told the history of Bulleit and its leadership. Soon a bus arrives to take you to the production facility. You will spend most of the tour looking through windows, although you will walk into the room that holds the fermenters and also the milling room. One of your first stops will be the control room, where the team manages and monitors the distilling process from this central location.

After the tour, you will enjoy a unique multi-sensory tasting experience. The tour empties into the beautiful gift shop with plenty of bourbon and rye for sale. There is also a cocktail bar where they offer cocktail crafting classes on select Wednesdays and Sundays.

As seen in "Experiencing Kentucky Bourbon."
