About Angel's Envy Distillery
Opened in 2013, Angel’s Envy is the brainchild of long time Brown-Forman Master Distiller and Bourbon Hall-of-Famer Lincoln Henderson, who along with his son Wes, and a third generation of Henderson's have created a unique expression in the world of bourbon. They take their four to six-year-old bourbon and add additional flavor notes by finishing it in ruby port barrels.
If you are in downtown Louisville, the distillery is a short walk to the eastern end of Whiskey Row (Main Street). It sits in a remodeled brick warehouse, where everything feels upscale from the moment you walk into the Visitor’s Center and Gift Shop.
Your tour starts with a complementary biodegradable box of water and an elevator ride up to the heart of the distillery. As you arrive on the second floor, the bourbon making process will unfold before your eyes, from grain-to-bottle. At the tour’s conclusion, you will head to the third floor for a guided tasting.
