Jeptha Creed Distillery
About Jeptha Creed Distillery
Check with distillery. Tours were temporarily suspended.
Jeptha Creed is a stylish farm-based “ground-to-glass” distillery and event center located just off I-64 between Louisville and Lexington. This family-owned distillery has at its core the mother-daughter team of Joyce and Autumn Nethery. Joyce is the Master Distiller and Co-owner Autumn handles marketing and is the youngest distillery owner in Kentucky.
What makes Jeptha Creed different is a unique locally grown, non-GMO grain called Bloody Butcher corn. This heirloom variety of corn caught the family’s attention when they noticed it was becoming the favorite snack of local wildlife. This is at the heart of the mash bill that finds its way into their bourbon, moonshine, and vodka.
The distillery tour features a view of the porch and outdoor event space before passing the distillery cats' home. There is a short video talking about the distillery and family, then they take you through production and finish up your journey with a tasting. The tours take around 30 minutes.
