Puni Distillery, founded in 2010 by Albrecht Ebensperger, is Italy’s first whisky distillery. Located in the Alpine region of South Tyrol, the distillery blends traditional Scottish whisky-making techniques with Italian flair. Puni uses a combination of barley, wheat, and rye in their whiskies, and their spirit is aged in a variety of casks, including ex-bourbon, Marsala, and wine barrels.
