About Belgian Owl Distillery

Founded in 2004 by Etienne Bouillon, Belgian Owl is Belgium's first 100% Belgian whisky distillery, located in the Hesbaye region. The distillery uses barley from local fair-trade farmers and produces a sustainable, terroir-driven single malt. Their copper pot stills were originally from Scotland’s Caperdonich Distillery, bringing a Scottish touch to the heart of Belgium. Belgian Owl whiskies, particularly their Identity single malt, have earned acclaim as some of the best in Europe.
