About Lost State Distilling

Lost State Distillery, situated along the Tennessee-Virginia border, is a family-owned craft distillery with a love for the area's history. The distillery's name is in reference to the lost State of Franklin. Their flagship Bourbon is named after Evan Shelby, an American hero and possibly Tennessee's first commercial distiller.

The distillery offers complimentary daily tours where visitors can learn about Evan Shelby's story, the distillery's history, and their small-batch production of Gin, Rum, Tennessee Whiskey, and Canned Cocktails. For those short on time, the gift shop offers product sampling and exclusive distillery purchases.
