Jack Daniel's Distillery
About Jack Daniel's Distillery
As soon as you arrive in the little town of Lynchburg and make your way into the Jack Daniel's Visitor's Center, you will be transported into a time long ago filled with stories of a young man and his passion for whiskey.
You will have a variety of choices of tour types that include a variety of tasting options. Of course, for those who want to skip the whiskey, there is a Dry County Tour, that honors the status of the county by not serving alcohol at the tour's conclusion. As for the tour itself, not only will you get a behind-the-scenes glimpse into Jack’s whiskey making process, you'll walk by the historic Cave Spring Hollow where he and his first master distiller Nathan "Nearest Green" laid the foundation for what is now the world's best selling whiskey. A whiskey that is produced entirely at this one distillery. It's a distillery tour you will never forget. Every whiskey fan should make the pilgrimage here at one point or another. After the tour, there are plenty of bottles, including exclusives in the gift shoo. Meanwhile, a trip to the Lynchburg Hardware Store or lunch at Miss Mary Bobo's afterwards will make the day complete.
