About Hook & Ladder Distillery

Hook & Ladder Distillery in downtown Kingsport is a family affair, founded by a father, Senior Captain Draper of the Kingsport Fire Department, and moonshining son Drew. Drew's lifelong interest in distilling moonshine led him to develop his own recipe and choose a thumper still setup, paying homage to moonshining history. The distillery produces a range of spirits, including moonshine, Private Reserve Bourbon Whiskey, single barrel whiskey, and other spirits. Visitors can enjoy tastings and impromptu tours, available Monday through Saturday, and explore the gift shop.
