Located in the historic Chattanooga Choo Choo Terminal Station, Gate 11 Distillery is a family-owned small batch distillery that focuses on the science of modern craft spirits. Visitors can explore the historic trains and then relax at the cocktail bar, where they can enjoy a flight of spirits or an expertly crafted cocktail. A tour of the distillery offers insight into Bill and Wanda Lee's vision, shaped by Bill's scientific background, which influenced the innovative configuration of their stills. After the tour, guests can sample Gate 11's vodka, gin, rum, absinthe, agave, and whiskey, making for a memorable experience steeped in history and craftsmanship. Tours are intimate, so reservations are recommended, and participants receive a 10% discount on bottle sales.
