One of the more unique locations for a whisky distillery, Dam Whisky Corp is situated in the historic Hales Bar Dam, built on the lands of the Chickamauga Cherokee in 1913. Despite its early operational challenges and eventual decommissioning, the dam has found new life as a fully functioning distillery.
Dam Whisky Corp produces Bourbon, vodka, and moonshine within this historic, and some say haunted, facility. Tours are available on the hour, every hour, on Saturdays and Sundays. An extended tour option takes visitors deeper into the dam's history, including ghost stories and a trip into the underground tunnels, providing a truly unique and eerie experience.
