Company Distilling's Townsend location, set between Knoxville and to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, is the newest of three distilleries for Tennessee's new statewide brand.
Founded by three veterans of the Tennessee whiskey scene—Jeff Arnett of Jack Daniel's, Heath Clark of H. Clark Distillery, and Kris Tatum of Old Forge Distillery—Company Distilling at Townsend offers a unique tasting experience. Visitors can enjoy tastings indoors or outdoors on the patio, savoring whiskey and Bourbon cocktails or a taste of their beer, brewed on-site. For those looking for a more exclusive experience, premium tastings can be scheduled. While their whiskey is currently sourced, Company Distilling is actively distilling at three locations: Alcoa, Townsend, and Thompson Station. Additionally, the Townsend location is brewing beer, adding to the diverse offerings of this innovative distillery.
