West Overton Educational Distillery
About West Overton Educational Distillery
Celebrate the rebirth of Monongahela Rye whiskey and its American heritage at West Overton Village. It's story goes back to a Bucks County and a family patriarch named Heinrich Oberholtzer. His son Abraham Oberholt helped bring the revised family name into the modern age of distilling. The village is well worth visiting and charges a fee for entry. The Educational Distillery can be toured for free. Note, the distillery is open Thursday through Saturday in the summer but only opens on Friday's during the winter.
