Tobacco Barn Distillery, located in Southern Maryland, embraces the state's rich heritage of distilling, dating back to the 1700s. As a ground-to-glass distillery, they grow all the corn used in their Bourbon and Whiskies on their farm or source it from neighboring farms. Committed to environmental sustainability, the distillery employs solar, geothermal, and heat recovery systems, with solar panels offsetting much of the distillery's power consumption. Tobacco Barn produces a rye-forward Bourbon, Straight Rye, cinnamon whiskey, and rum. While tours are not offered, visitors can schedule a tasting to learn about the spirits firsthand and take home a complimentary shot glass.
