About Baltimore Spirits Company

Baltimore Spirits Company, was founded in 2015 by Max Lents and Ian Newton. Specializing in pot still distillation, they produce their whiskey entirely in-house, from mashing and fermenting to distilling and aging. Their flagship product, Epoch Straight Rye Whiskey, exemplifies their dedication to bringing back historic Maryland Rye. Alongside whiskey, the distillery crafts a variety of spirits including gin, brandy, and amari, all in small batches. Visitors can participate in the Blend-Your-Own-Whiskey Tour offered each weekend. You can see behind the scenes, then taste 4 versions of their Maryland Rye, and craft your own. At the Cocktail Gallery, a contemporary bar within the distillery, guests can enjoy expertly crafted cocktails featuring Baltimore Spirits Company's spirits, set against a unique light sculpture by a local artist.
