About Bladnoch Distillery
Located in the picturesque southernmost region of Scotland, Bladnoch is a handsome distillery experiencing a vibrant revival. With a history dating back to 1817, its founders, the McClelland brothers quickly built a solid business for the distillery earning it the moniker "Queen of the Lowlands." After several ownership changes, in 2015, Australian investor David Prior acquired the distillery, recognizing its potential for a renaissance. With historic buildings, a Visitors Center, and aging whiskies at their disposal, the distillery experience was refreshed, and with the introduction of Dr. Nick Savage, formerly of Macallan, it is quickly establishing a revived reputation for its whiskies.
The Classic Tour & Taste offers visitors a glimpse into the disitllery's history and process, concluding with a tasting of three spirits that showcase Bladnoch's renewed commitment to excellence.
