About Wolfburn Distillery
Located in the heart of Caithness, in the northermost town on mainland Scotland, Wolfburn Distillery draws its water source from the same springs that supplied the original Wolfburn distillery over 150 years ago. As you tour you will learn about Wolfburn's distilling methods, including their focus on long fermentation and gentle distillation. With a commitment to craftsmanship, Wolfburn operates without automation, manually handling everything from milling to bottling on-site. The entire distillery, excluding the warehouse, is housed in a single room. Tours culminate in a tasting of five core whiskies, with the option to upgrade for a more in-depth tasting experience. While there is no dedicated tasting room or visitor's center, the well-stocked gift shop offers a range of whiskies for purchase.
