Brora Distillery
About Brora Distillery
Originally dubbed the Clynelish distillery, this historic distillery was replaced by the modern building next door in 1967. The old distillery was then renamed for the nearby village of Brora. During the current whisky boom, stocks from the old Brora distillery became highly prized, prompting Diageo to start a three-year distillery renovation and revival project. Today, the Brora distillery hosts elevated tour experiences that dive into the history, the current renovation project, and the whisky making process. These tours range from offering warehouse tastings to serving lunch on-site and the price range is from hundreds to thousands of dollars.
Tours are infrequent. See the website for specific details, if interested.
