About Jura Distillery

Accessible by a small ferry from Port Askaig, the Jura Distillery is a focal point of the little island neighbor of Islay. It is the pride of the island's small community. Jura whiskies are known for their bright, smooth, and lively character, reflecting the rugged beauty of their surroundings.

Tours at Jura are intimate affairs, limited to 10 people, offering an in-depth look at the distillation process, equipment, and the people behind the whisky. After the tour, visitors are treated to two drams and a Jura Whisky glass, with the opportunity to purchase exclusive bottlings from the gift shop. Due to its remote location, tours are limited, so booking in advance is essential for those looking to experience this unique distillery.
