Bruichladdich Distillery bridges the worlds of tradition and innovation with a forward-thinking approach to whisky making, while utilizing Victorian era production equipment. Bruichladdich pushes boundaries to create the thought-provoking spirits. Central to their ethos is the belief that terroir matters, with a focus on how the region's climate, soil, and terrain influence the taste of their whiskies.They are also one of the only distilleries on Islay that produces a good number of unpeated whiskies.
Visitors to the distillery are treated to a guided walk through the historic premises, where you learn about the distillery's history, philosophy, and the meticulous processes behind the production of their three single malts and their highly popular Botanist gin. The tour concludes with a welcoming tasting session in the shop, allowing guests to experience firsthand the distinctive flavors and complexities that define Bruichladdich's exceptional spirits.
Closed on Sundays during the off-season.
