Branded as the "home of the gentle dram," Tomintoul Distillery sits near the village from where its name originates, the highest village in the Highlands. Offering a smaller, more intimate tour experience, Tomintoul provides a refreshing break from crowded tours, allowing visitors to explore with others who share their passion. Enjoy a 90-minute guided behind-the-scenes tour of Tomintoul Distillery, located in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, and witness firsthand how the dedicated team uses traditional distilling techniques. Note that there is a small distillery shop on-site. It's advisable to book tours in advance and arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time. Tours are held twice daily on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and please be aware that tours do not run during the off-season.
