Tomatin Distillery
About Tomatin Distillery
Near the picturesque village from which it takes its name, the Tomatin Distillery boasts a rich history that includes once being the largest producer in Scotland, only to scale back in the 1970s after the post-World War II whisky boom. This transformation provides a unique backdrop for an engaging tour. Despite its reduced output, Tomatin's expansive distillery stills make it a fascinating visit. After a comprehensive tour of the process and the stillhouse, your experience culminates in a tutored tasting of three single malts: Tomatin Legacy, Tomatin 12-year-old, and the lightly peated Cù Bòcan Signature. Or for enthusiasts seeking a deeper dive, an expanded tasting with six drams is available or the Single Cask Experience offers a sampling of five distinct whiskies from the warehouse. To ensure availability, the distillery recommends booking ahead for all experiences.
