The distillery's striking entrance hints at the modernity within, which is fully realized during the immersive tour experience. The first thing you will spot is the unique design of the stillhouse. It is a marvel of design, featuring a series of miniature pot still eco-systems that showcase The Macallan's commitment to innovation. There are a couple of films shown during the tour and there is no trip to a warehouse, but they do demonstrate coopering through the films. This is an ultra-modern experience. It also has some requirements. To ensure a seamless visit, booking in advance is required for distillery tours, as well as for reservations at The Macallan Bar or the Elchies Brasserie, which offers a delightful food experience.
