Located in the heart of Speyside, The GlenAllachie Distillery is building its reputation for innovative whisky making under the guidance of legendary blender Billy Walker. Walker's pursuit of creative wood experimentation and extended fermentation times has resulted in whiskies that are rich in flavor and complexity.
The distillery offers a range of tours, from the standard tour to the Connoisseurs Tour, as well as various tasting-only experiences. The main tour begins with a welcome dram, followed by a guided tour of the production process. Although the warehouse is not included in the tour, visitors have the opportunity to sample three whiskies from GlenAllachie's core range in the tasting room. Note that the distillery is closed on Sundays during the off-season. It also has an electric vehicle charging station.
