Founded by William Grant in 1892, The Balvenie Distillery stands as a beacon of tradition and craftsmanship in Dufftown, the heart of the Speyside region. Offering one of the most comprehensive tours in Scotland, the Balvenie experience is a two and a half hour immersion into the art and science of whisky-making. Visitors are treated to a journey through Warehouse 24, an exploration of barrel-making at the onsite cooperage, and a rare glimpse into one of the few distillery-based malting floors in Scotland. Led by knowledgeable guides, the tour provides an incredible wealth of information and a chance to meet the makers behind The Balvenie's whiskies. While the price for a standard tour may be higher than most, the Balvenie tour is a deep dive into the world of Scotch whisky. Please note that no one under 18 is allowed on the tour.
