About Ballindalloch Distillery
As you wind your way along the A95 towards the heart of Speyside, a charming surprise awaits at the historic Ballindalloch Castle estate. Here lies Ballindalloch Single Malt Distillery, Scotland’s first modern single estate distillery. Owned by the Macpherson-Grant family, who once also owned Cragganmore down the road, this distillery, built in a former farm building, provides a lovely introduction to the Speyside region. During your tour, you’ll witness firsthand the work that goes into developing their core range, including the Ballindalloch 10 Year Old, a featuring blend of honey, vanilla, and oak notes. As you walk through the production area, you’ll discover our dedication to quality and tradition, culminating in a tasting of two single cask Ballindalloch whiskies.
