About Springbank Distillery
There are many things that make Springbank a must see distillery. It's not just that it is one of the few family-owned historic distilleries in Scotland, this is a distillery where hand labor takes on every aspect of whisky production, from the time the barley arrives to bottling.
Because of this, Springbank takes you deeper than most Scottish tours, moving from the malting floors, to the still house, into the kiln room, and then to a warehouse room for the tasting. Beyond the poured samples, you'll receive a mini-bottle to take with you as well as a branded glass as a keepsake. Upon the completion of the tour, you step into the Washback Bar where you can purchase addition distillery offerings to sample.
Springbank is a unique distillery that offers peated and non-peated expressions, and not only double distills, but triple distills and distills 2 1/2 times. There is something for every taste on this tour.
