About The English Whisky Company (St. George Spirits)

For six centuries, the Nelstrop family has been involved in English farming. In 2005, James Nelstrop saw an opportunity to build England's first whisky distillery in over 100 years. With the help of Iain Henderson of Laphroaig, James' dream of creating a world-class English single-malt whisky took off. Today, his son Andrew carries on the family business at The English Distillery. Visitors can enjoy the standard tour or join the "World's Best Single Malt" Tour & Tasting, along with various other experiences, including a cocktail masterclass and the chance to create their own blended whisky.
