Terms of Service

Welcome to Whiskey Lore, a service provided by Travel Fuels Life LLC. By submitting a photo or purchasing a distillery profile, you agree to the following terms of service. Please read them carefully.

1. Photo Submission

Usage Rights: By submitting a photo, you grant Travel Fuels Life LLC (dba Whiskey Lore) a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display your photo on the Whiskey Lore website, its associated category and profile pages, and website marketing materials. You also insure that you are the copyright holder of any photo submitted for use as part of this agreement.

Photographer Credit:
If a photographer credit is required, please include the appropriate attribution details at the time of submission. Travel Fuels Life LLC will make reasonable efforts to display the credit as provided.

Photo Removal Requests:
To request the removal of a submitted photo, please contact us at whiskeylore@travelfuelslife.com. Upon receipt of your request, we will make reasonable efforts to remove the photo from the website in a timely manner.

2. Profile Creation

In-House Writing: Profiles are written in-house by Whiskey Lore using information provided during submission and additional details gathered from your website. Profiles are designed to maintain a consistent style and tone across the Whiskey Lore Distillery Travel Guide.

Small Corrections: Minor corrections may be requested free of charge within seven (7) days of the profile launch. Additional updates or changes requested after this period will incur a fee of $100 per hour.

No Refunds: Profile fees are non-refundable.

Removal Requests: You may request the removal of your profile by emailing whiskeylore@travelfuelslife.com.

3. Service Disclaimer

As-Is Service: Whiskey Lore provides all services "as is" without any warranties or guarantees of availability, accuracy, or performance.

No Endorsement: Submission of a photo or purchase of a profile does not constitute endorsement by Whiskey Lore.

4. Payment and Fees

Profile Cost: The cost for a distillery profile is $350 USD, payable in advance via PayPal.

Additional Fees: Any updates or edits beyond the initial corrections period are charged at $100 per hour. Potential clients outside the United States should contact whiskeylore@travelfuelslife.com to make arrangements for payment, if a full profile is desired.

5. Communication and Privacy

Contact: By submitting a photo or profile information, you agree to allow Whiskey Lore to communicate with you via the email address provided for updates about your submission.
Privacy: Your contact information will not be sold or shared with third parties.

6. Limitation of Liability

Travel Fuels Life LLC (doing business as Whiskey Lore) is not responsible for any inaccuracies, omissions, or unauthorized third-party use of submitted content. By submitting a photo, you represent and warrant that you are the copyright holder or have obtained all necessary rights and permissions to grant the usage rights described above. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Travel Fuels Life LLC, its employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses—including reasonable attorney's fees—arising out of or related to your submitted content, including but not limited to claims of copyright infringement or violation of any third-party rights.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Travel Fuels Life LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly. In no event shall the total liability of Travel Fuels Life LLC exceed the total amount paid by you (if any) for the submission of the photo or related services.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under or relating to these terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in South Carolina.

7. Amendments

These terms may be updated at any time without prior notice. By continuing to use the service, you agree to the updated terms.
