Chattooga Belle Farm
About Chattooga Belle Farm
Chattooga Belle Farm Distillery is situated in the scenic Long Creek, South Carolina, at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This 198-acre working farm and distillery is steeped in history, with its origins tracing back to the 1960s, when Long Creek was the largest apple-producing area east of the Mississippi. Groucho Marx, the famous actor and comedian, once owned the orchard that now forms part of the farm. The distillery produces a wide variety of spirits, and the farm itself offers a variety of activities, including weddings, family reunions, and corporate events in their event barn. And how many distilleries give you an opportunity to pick your own peaches, blueberries, or apples? Also, check out their farm store, play disc golf, or enjoy lunch at the on-site Belle's Bistro (open Wednesday through Sunday).
