About Torabhaig
Torabhaig Distillery, founded in 2017, is quickly establishing itself as a source for exceptional single malt Scotch whiskies. Located on the Sleat peninsula overlooking the Sound of Sleat, the distillery boasts a picturesque setting for whisky production. Built on the site of the Iron Age fort, Caisteal Chamuis, Torabhaig's gorgeous stone distillery is a testament to the history of the area. Torabhaig's whisky is crafted using pure island spring water from two burns and is influenced by the wilful climate that governs the rhythms of the distillery. The distillery offers various tours, including a warehouse tour, chocolate pairing experience, or the regular distillery tour, where visitors can learn about where they source their grain and how it influences whisky production, experience the working environment of the distillery first hand, and taste the most recently released expression of Torabhaig Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
