About Newfoundland Distillery Company

Founded in 2016 by William Carter and Peter Wilkins, the Newfoundland Distillery Company is the first craft distillery in Newfoundland and Labrador. Located on the shores of Conception Bay, the distillery is known for using locally grown barley and other native ingredients to craft a range of spirits, including gin, rum, aquavit, vodka, and since 2020, their award-winning Newfoundland Whisky. The distillery prides itself on capturing the essence of Newfoundland in every bottle, using their custom-made copper stills.
