About Shelter Point Distillery

Founded in 2011 by Patrick Evans, Shelter Point Distillery is located on 380 acres of farmland on Vancouver Island. This distillery is known for producing premium single malt whisky using barley grown on the farm and pure water from an underground aquifer. Shelter Point’s coastal location, combined with traditional Scottish distilling methods, results in whisky with a unique maritime character influenced by the local climate and sea air. Their range of whiskies includes limited edition cask strength releases, as well as those finished in unique casks such as Oloroso sherry or barrels smoked with driftwood.
